The beach is approximately 10 minutes drive from the resort and there is also a bus stop right outside the resort which will take you all around the island. This offers a reliable service at a good rate. The taxis here on the island also offer a great form of transport if you didn’t want to hire a car. Shops and more restaurants are also within 10 minutes drive of the apartment.
Barbados Golf Resort is also close to the famous Oistion’s fish market which has food stalls and music, making a great day out for all. Other activities close by, within 15 minutes, are wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, a sports center, scuba diving, historic sites, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a theme park, and a food shop.
Golf
Barbados Golf Club is located in the southern parish of Christ Church and has become the soul of golfing in Barbados for local golfers as well as hotel guests and visitors cruising through the Caribbean. The course was approved and sanctioned by the PGA European Tour to host a PGA Seniors Tournament in 2003 and it has also hosted the Barbados Open on several occasions. Barbados Golf Course was reopened in 2000 after a period of reconstruction to the environmentally sensitive design specifications of Ron Kirby, one of the most respected and experienced golf course architects in the world. He redesigned the course to produce a fair, challenging and a pleasurable game for golfers of all levels of skill and competence.
