For the really adventurous, there is ab-sailing, climbing, dune surfing or river-rafting. Freshy caught seafood and a taste of the local artists can be enjoyed at the Kleinmond Harbour.
Further along the coast towards Betty's Bay is the Harold Porter National Botanical Garden. This beautiful secluded garden is set between mountain and sea in the heart of the Cape Fynbos region, and encompasses ten hectares of cultivated Fynbos garden and 190 hectares of pristine natural Fynbos to be explored on foot. Another must see it the African Penquin Colony at Stony Point in Betty's Bay. Their only predator in this area is the leopard.
Other places of interest are the whale watching at Hermanus, Great White shark cage diving and so many restaurants, museums, upmarket boutiques and vineyars to vist and enjoy. You can dine al-fresco on the La Vierge champagne balcony overlooking the valley winelands after tasting some of South Africa's fine wines.
Golf
Arabella Golf Course was designed by South African golf course architect Peter Matkovich. The resort was named Golf Resort of the Year for 2008 in the Rest of the World category by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators in 2008. It is a classic parkland course with pristine fairways and superb Dominant Bent greens and enjoys spectacular views across the Bot River Lagoon and the Kogelberg Mountain Range.
